Meet the Publisher

Uniquely You is more than a magazine—it’s a mission. A mission to support, celebrate, and connect individuals and families in the disability community throughout Summit, Stark, Portage, Medina, and Holmes counties. Each issue is created with intention, highlighting real people, trusted resources, and stories that too often go unseen. Our goal is simple but powerful: to bring visibility, belonging, and connection to a community that deserves to be celebrated every single day.

As the Owner and Publisher of Uniquely You, this work means something deeply personal to me. I’ve seen firsthand how isolating it can be when families are navigating a diagnosis or trying to find the right services and support. But I’ve also seen how strong, joyful, resilient, and inspiring this community is—and I wanted to help shine a brighter light on all of it. This magazine was born out of that desire: to create something that not only informs and empowers, but honors the uniqueness of every journey.

Each month, Uniquely You is delivered—free of charge—both in print and digitally to families, caregivers, SSAs, therapists, educators, and professionals across our region. The content features personal stories, local heroes, supportive resources, and trusted organizations that are doing important work. It’s a publication built on purpose and empathy, and I’m proud to say that every provider, business, and contributor in our pages believes in serving this community with heart and integrity.

On a personal note—I live in Uniontown, Ohio with my wife, Caroline, and our three amazing children: Tyler, Paige, and Oliver. I’m passionate about family, community, and making a difference close to home. In addition to my publishing work, I also serve as a City Council member in Green, Ohio, where I have the privilege of staying connected to the heartbeat of the local community. Everything I do—personally and professionally—is rooted in the belief that strong communities are built by showing up, serving others, and leading with purpose.
